To put it short, Hazyl adores the 'good ol' days'. Anything from vintage records and their melodies, to the cafes and diners that filled your senses with freshly brewed coffee. She's quite attached to these memories, even if she never lived in the times, and believes they're slowly disappearing. Her goal is to preserve and experience the past for herself, never wanting to return to the future she escaped from.
Hazyl didn't come from our time, but in fact far into the future, where everything she wanted was since long gone. She chooses to not speak of the future, not wanting anyone to worry about what will happen, though taking no means to prevent it. One person against the inevitable changes of the world, it was impossible.
She's fairly carefree despite her past, choosing to become a waitress at a cafe that most represented her favorite time period. She's not against technology, though mentioning the 'newest' technological breakthrough or invention does dampen her mood. A few things she did keep from the future was her irrational fear of dogs, as well as wanting to keep both feet on the ground from being afraid of heights. Vampires, aliens, zombies, yes all myth, but just mentioning them could cause her to tense up. Laziness isn't tolerated, believing one should work for their earning. Otherwise, she's easy to get along with, though might be clingy to certain people in fear of losing them in the past.
